Calvin Hennig for Stony Plain Town Council

Meet Calvin Hennig

Calvin Hennig isn’t just running for town council—he’s running to put people before politics. Born and raised in Parkland County and proud to call Stony Plain home for 18 years, Calvin knows what makes this town special: its people, values, and sense of belonging.

With over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience—from construction to co-owning a financial services business with his wife—Calvin brings practical knowledge, business insight, and integrity to every decision.

“Real leadership begins with listening.” – Calvin Hennig

Family is at the heart of everything Calvin does. As a husband, father, and proud grandfather, he believes strong families make strong communities.

“When families thrive, our whole town thrives,” Calvin says.

Grounded in faith and committed to honesty, accountability, and progress, Calvin is ready to serve—not as a politician, but as a neighbor who cares. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected Stony Plain.
